NATURE’S LOOP

PROJECT COMPLETION: 2018 | LOCATION: IRINJALAKKUDA

Every project is believed to be a budding seed that has been dealt meticulously throughout its development. We strive to provide a balanced design solution that serve the present and is directed towards an exciting future. Having said that, this residence at Irinjalakuda is an outcome of conscious response to clientele needs and making a dream in full justice to the serenity of God’s Own Country.

An interpretation of the traditional courtyard forms the identity and is a timeless solution cherished by all. The plan is conceived by allocating the frequently occupied spaces such as living, family and dining on either side of the courtyard. It also acts as transitional space to the other private areas of the home. A double height volume is shared among the courtyard and dining area that incessantly connects the crux of the home to the upper level. An open plan with required seclusion weaves into visually connected spaces.

The integration of wood in design creates a strong character to the interiors. An echoed design joins to detail various elements such as partition screens, wall treatment, lamp shades and almost all essential objects and features inside and outside the home. Interior screens are becoming a popular element in residential design that creates a sense of boundary and add to the artistry of the space maintaining the essence of open plan allowing visual connectivity.

Indoor plants and light filled spaces are conscious design treatments used to elevate the overall ambience of each space. A sophisticated minimalism is celebrated while harmonizing white walls, Italian marble floor and wood everywhere possible.

The exterior is crafted as exuberantly as the interiors and exemplifies the site that it is part of. Painting a picture of serene living, the house embraces a matured traditional concept juxtaposed with modern finishes and luxuries.
